Welcome to the Forestview Planetarium

Welcome to the Forestview Middle School Planetarium website! We are glad you stopped by. Our planetarium is located in Forestview Middle School in Baxter, MN. It has a full-dome video projection system produced by Evans & Sutherland, that projects on a 28 foot perforated aluminum Spitz permanent dome. The night sky, along with several "full-dome" shows can be reproduced on this 360º spherical dome. The planetarium can seat 50 people with room for a few more along the sides.

We will be open for public shows sometime in the near future. Please call one of the contacts if you are interested in booking a show for a private group. You can find the show descriptions from the links above.

You are welcome to tour this site. We hope you find it useful.

Interested in signing up for our monthly newsletter? We will be sending out a monthly newsletter that will help you learn more about what is visible in the night sky and what the Planetarium has to offer.
